Eugene P. Heslin, M.D. is an alumnus of Fordham University, where he earned Bachelors and Masters degrees in Chemistry. In 1989, he received his Medical degree from the University of Texas at Houston and then returned to New York to complete his Family Practice training at The Mid-Hudson Family Health Institute Residency program in Kingston.
Dr. Heslin holds key positions in numerous healthcare endeavors at the regional, state and national levels. His private practice, Bridge Street Family Medicine in Saugerties, includes four primary care physicians working in an expanded, state-of-the-art medical facility.
When he is not practicing medicine, Dr. Heslin enjoys hiking and mountain climbing, which he proudly traces back to his Scouting heritage during which he became an Eagle Scout and Vigil member of the Order of the Arrow.
The Rip Van Winkle Council publicly recognized Dr. Heslin as the recipient of the 2010 Distinguished Citizen’s Award for his lifelong commitment to the Scouting program and ideals.
