The 2026 National Jamboree will be the Scouting Adventure of a Lifetime for your Scout.

From July 22nd - 31st, 2026, the National Jamboree site at the 10,000+ acre Summit Bechtel Reserve, will become the 10th largest town in West Virginia as more than 15,000 Scouts and Scouters show up for the massive event.

Twin Rivers Council is sending 52 Scouts to take part in this fantastic event, and your Scout can be part of it. We will send one troop of 36 boys and one troop of 18 girls. Each contingent will have first-rate experienced adult leaders accompanying them.

With the theme of ELEVATE! , Scouts will spend 10 days working on merit badges, zip-lining, kayaking, paddle boarding, shooting, patch trading, going to fabulous shows, and meeting Scouts from across the country.

To be part of this tremendous event, your son or daughter needs to be at least 12 years old by the start of the Jamboree and be no older than 17. He or she must be a registered Scout in good standing and have a current Scout physical and have required vaccinations. There is a lot of walking, running, and riding, so being in good shape helps your Scout enjoy the fun. It is recommended that a Scout be First Class, but it is not required.

The total cost to attend the Jamboree will be up to $2,400. This covers the $1,560 per Scout Jamboree payment to Scouting America’s National Council and funds Twin Rivers Council will use to cover transportation and supplies. We hope to bring that cost down.

A $350 non-refundable deposit per registrant is required at registration. $205 installment payments will begin on May 1st and continue monthly until March 1st, 2026.

Full payment must be received no later than March 31st, 2026 in order for the participant to attend.

ADULT LEADER NOTE: All Adult Leaders who want to attend must be first vetted by the the Jamboree Selection Committee. Please contact Eric Durr for more details at ericdurr@aol.com if you are interested in leading one of the 2 troops.
